Overview: What is the IS concentration?
Concentrations are NOT required for graduation. However, a certificate will be conferred to those who complete concentration requirements upon graduation. It is issued in the name of the Division Chair of IS.
International Business and Economics [BE]
International Law and Diplomacy [LD]
Asian Studies [AS]
Requirements
One must complete 18 credits for each concentration to obtain the certificate. If one selects 2 concentrations and takes one overlapping course in both concentrations, the course may be considered as fulfilling 3 credits for each concentration. An overall GPA of 2.7 is required for graduation with a certificate of concentration.

As for Asian Studies concentration track, in addition to the courses listed above, courses related to Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages can be considered as concentration up to 9 credits (NOT as IS major).
