CJ Cultural Foundation is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to the special screening of I Can Speakon the evening of Thursday, September 28th, 2017 at CGV Sinchon Artreon.

I Can Speak is a comedy movie about an unlikely friendship between a low-level civil servant and an elderly woman who files over 8,000 complaints at the local government office. As plot thickens, the real reason behind her irksome behavior revealed.

Humor can be the best medium to talk about a complicated topic sometimes. I Can Speak was one of four winners of a screenwriting contest (co-hosted by CJ Cultural Foundation and Ministry of Gender Equality & Family) on the theme of ‘comfort women (victims of forced sexual slavery)’ in 2014.

This screening is designed to inform historical truth of victims of forced sexual slavery for foreigner students who live and study in Korea.
