[KOR] EAASIS 멘토링 프로그램 - 멘토 모집공고

EAASIS 멘토링 프로그램은 동일학과·전공 소속 한국인/외국인 재학생(멘토)과 외국인 유학생(멘티)이 매칭되어, 멘티의 학교생활, 학과생활에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 지원하는 멘토링 활동입니다. 각 학과의 유학생들이 학과에서 더 적극적으로 소통하며 함께 어울리고, 소속감을 느낄 수 있도록 적극적이고 성실한 동료, 선배 재학생들의 참여를 기대합니다.

1. 멘토 지원 자격

- 국제학부 소속 재학생 (휴학생, 수료생, 연구등록생은 지원 불가, 정규등록생에 한함)

- 국제학전공 및 글로벌한국학전공의 내외국인 학생 모두 멘토로 지원 가능 

- 책임감과 성실한 성격

- 다양한 문화를 이해하고 먼저 다가가려는 배려심 있는 성품

- 교내 활동에 참여도가 높고, 학과에 대한 정보를 공유할 수 있는 학생

2. 주요 활동: 멘티의 학업이나 학과참여에 기여할 수 있는 자체활동

- 학과 내 재학생(멘토)와 외국인 유학생 재학생(멘티)의 1:2~4 매칭

- 한국 문화 탐방, 단순 친목 도모를 위한 활동 등 (총 2회까지 인정)

- 전공기초 과목, 전공필수 과목 등 학과 총 필수 이수학점 및 수강신청 관련한 학습 조언 및 안내

- 교양(교양한국어 포함)과 전공과목 예습, 복습 및 학습 보충

- SNS, 단체대화방 등을 통해 학사일정, 학과공지, 교내행사 등 다양한 학과 및 교내 정보 공유

3. 의무 사항 

- 학기당 7회, 15시간 이상의 멘토링 활동 (2026. 3. ~ 2026. 6.) 

- 멘토링 활동보고서 제출 (중간 및 최종 총 2회)

4. 기타 권장 사항

- 멘티 과반수 이상과 만나는 것을 권장

- 교내 행사 및 학과 행사 참석도 멘토링 횟수로 인정

5. 멘토 혜택 (수료자에 한해 제공)

- 소정의 멘토 활동 장학금 지급

- 학생활동경력증명서 발급 (학부)

- 학생 성질 지원 인증ㅇ시스템 디지털 E-Badge 발급

- 제출한 멘토링 보고서를 토대로 우수 멘토 선발 (선발시 소정의 상품 지급)

[ENG] EAASIS Mentoring Program – Mentor Recruitment Notice

The EAASIS Mentoring Program connects Korean/International students (mentors) from the same department/major with international students (mentees) to support their successful adjustment to academic and campus life. This program aims to encourage international students to actively engage, communicate, and feel a sense of belonging within their department. We look forward to the participation of responsible and enthusiastic peers and senior students.

1. Eligibility for Mentors

1️⃣Current undergraduate students in the Division of International Studies (on-leave students, those who have completed coursework, and research-registered students are not eligible; only regular enrolled students may apply).

2️⃣Both Korean and international students majoring in International Studies or Global Korean Studies are eligible to apply as mentors. 

3️⃣A responsible and sincere personality.

4️⃣Respectful and considerate character, open to understanding different cultures and reaching out first.

5️⃣Students with high participation in campus activities and the ability to share information about the department.

2. Main Activities

• 1️⃣ Matching: 1 mentor with 2–4 international mentees.

• 2️⃣ Activities may include:

  • - Cultural exploration in Korea, friendship-building activities (up to 2 activities recognized)

  • - Academic guidance regarding mandatory major courses, course registration, and graduation requirements

  • - Support with general education courses (including Korean language), preparation/review of lectures, and supplemental learning

  • - Sharing departmental and university information (academic calendar, announcements, events, etc.) via SNS, group chats, etc.

  • 3. Obligations

• 1️⃣ Minimum of 7 meetings per semester, totaling at least 15 hours. (2026. 3. ~ 2026. 6.) 

• 2️⃣ Submission of two mentoring activity reports (mid-term and final).

• 4. Recommended Practices

• 1️⃣ Meeting with a majority of assigned mentees.

• 2️⃣ Participation in departmental or university events (recognized as mentoring activities).

• 5. Benefits for Mentors (upon completion)

• 1️⃣ Mentoring activity scholarship.

• 2️⃣ Issuance of a Certificate of Student Activity.

• 3️⃣ Selection of Outstanding Mentor(s) based on submitted reports (with additional prize awarded).

• 2️⃣ Applications submitted past the deadline will not be considered for mentor-mentee matching.
